Ever since its launch on the International Day of Education in 2020, LearningPlanet has been growing and evolving fast! Over the years, many things have changed, however our mission, ‘Uniting to Transform Education’, has remained a constant throughout.
In just three years we have already:
- gathered more than 500 diverse, complementary and committed education organisations and actors in our global Alliance;
- created the LearningPlanet Festival, bringing together more than 60,000 people each January; and
- launched initiatives like Teachers for the Planet, our Action Groups, Youth Council and Youth Fellows.
Today we’re excited to share with you our next significant step; the development of our LearningPlanet Events Platform.
The evolution of learning never stops, and creating partnerships and enabling exchanges accelerates initiatives and actions. This is why we are upgrading our Festival platform into a year-round community destination. A home for our Alliance and a dedicated place for you to unite in sharing your education transformation events and actions, 365 days a year.
But at LearningPlanet we know that to transform education you need more than just a shared space. This is why we’re equipping our Events Platform with tools to enable you to:
- Easily create and share your events within the Alliance community – to facilitate partnership building, co-creation, and collaboration dedicated to the future of learning;
- Easily communicate and promote your events to an even wider audience – to attract funding, build communities, and spread awareness of you and your initiatives.
Right now we’re adding the finishing touches before ‘unboxing’ the new platform and revealing more details in just a few weeks. Our plan? To bring you the full experience of this new platform through the events you organise for the January 2024 LearningPlanet Festival, so you can continue to promote, share, and grow your education transformation activities all year round.
