Pearl Oriele Perumal

A Biomedical and Forensic Scientist on paper but a philanthropist and impact leader at heart. Pearl is described as a modern polymath possessing an elastic mindset and novaturient outlook on life. Her multi-faceted interest range, stemming from sport, philosophy, science and art to economics, social and mental health issues, has allowed her to adopt multiple professional caps – all of which are guided by servant leadership and the Batho Pele principles (being in the service of others for intrinsic satisfaction and joy). Guided by her passion to serve and aim to combat education inequity in underprivileged communities and within the modern education systems, she works and volunteers with local and global stakeholders to inform, transform and implement new approaches- with a core focus on youth development.
