Luvuyo Madasa

Luvuyo Madasa is a development professional that is passionate about building solutions that showcase South Africa’s potential and talents to the world. His roles as Founder of Tyathumzi and the Executive Director of ReimagineSA NPC are avenues to drive change management and social development focused on youth empowerment.  Luvuyo is also a CoProducer for: Mandela the Musical; Vice Chair of The GYIFT Foundation and a One Young World Ambassador.  

 Luvuyo has played instrumental roles in projects and initiatives that inform insights and he draws on when engaging on various panel discussions he has participated in over the years. Key message has been to drive home the importance of intergenerational discourse; cultivating youth innovation and strategically aligning youth empowerment to establishing future markets. 

 After kickstarting his career in the conventional corporate environment, Luvuyo took an important decision to focus on his passion for people, youth and South Africa as a country. He has made strides with various transformation and social upliftment initiatives. These include but are not limited to, community development work and corporate social responsibility programmes that illustrate how youth and older generations can become contributing and progressive members of an ever-evolving South African and Global community.
