Katherine Brown

At LearningPlanet Alliance, Katherine is the Project Manager heading up African Engagement. This takes many shapes and forms, for example through the Ubuntu Learning Circle. Ubuntu is a Nguni Bantu term meaning “I am what I am because of who we all are”. The Ubuntu Circle aims to address African challenges from African contexts and cultures, by learning from indigenous knowledge and cultures. Katherine’s role includes facilitating and leading monthly sessions with the Club of Rome, alongside conducting research and advocacy work for the group.
