Arissa Roy

Arissa Roy is an Indo-Canadian, youth activist, children’s book author, and documentary maker. She founded ‘Project Power Global’, an international organization that advocates for education equity, through grassroots, policy and community initiatives. She is a 2023 recipient of the esteemed Diana Award and has been featured by the Malala Fund, CBC, Toronto Star, Global News, United Nations Girls Education Initiative (UNGEI) etc. In addition, Arissa has worked with several organisations, including ‘Plan International Canada’, ‘Unsinkable’, “Fridays for Future”, and most recently UNESCO as an SDG4 Youth Network member. Currently, Arissa is studying at the United World College of the Adriatic.
