Uniting Generations and Sharing Power is crucial for empowering youth voices and catalyzing transformations in education!
This session will celebrate and put into action the Uniting Generations and Sharing Power guide, a checklist for making all events intergenerational! It is the collective effort of an alliance of 10 organisations, co-led by Salzburg Global Seminar and Big Change, exploring how intergenerational leadership can help reimagine education systems. It brings together a number of education communities worldwide, including YouthxYouth, LearningPlanet, Teach for All, Restless Development, Cambridge Partnership for Education, WOMEN, NCEE.
This session will be collaborative, action-focused and fun! We will:
- Dive into on emerging models of leadership, collaboration and power sharing across ages and backgrounds.
- Brainstorm actionable ways to use collaborative guide to Intergenerational Convenings for education transformation, and built momentum towards LearningPlanet Festival 2024!

It is a starting point for all those committed to sharing power and taking an inclusive approach to transforming education. This guide makes the case for uniting generations and sharing power, explores definitions, provides examples, and offers a co-created checklist for organizations and leaders to consider in their events.
