Project Manager

Fiston Muganda is a refugee in Uganda, from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He studied Community development, social work, and Organized ethics and legislation in DRC and got his Secondary school diploma.

He came to Uganda in 2015 but arrived in the Nakivale refugee settlement camp in 2016, studied Entrepreneurship at ID4AFRICA, and got a Certificate. He also studied Data research and got a certificate from the 60 Decibels in 2018

Fiston is currently a project manager at Open Portal Network, under LO*OP Center Inc where he works as a consultant, He is also a former CEO of Unidos project Nakivale refugee settlement. They are a community-based organization aiming at improving refugees’ livelihoods through entrepreneurial and regenerative practices. Fiston is also a certified Lean Data Research Assistant at https://60decibels.com/
Fiston is also a country representative of Full Circle Learning (https://www.fullcirclelearning.org/)

He is also a Warmdatalab host https://batesoninstitute.org/warm-data-labs/and a Ulab participant. He is passionate about the 17SDGs and mind-shift transformation as a tool to drive social change in communities worldwide.
He is also passionate about systems transformations, his interests include psychology, philosophy, Political Science and Anthropology.
Fiston is an international storytelling presenter, certified at Play perform Learn and grow who also gained a big network as a Guest Speaker at the Africa Voices Dialogue where he spoke about the theme of Education in Conflict.
With the Project Manager Role, Fiston is committed to promote the connection between and among organizations and individuals in the education sector and support alternative education by helping the designs, organization, and collaborative efforts
towards curriculums and modules.
