Professor Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty is the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Chair Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV), where he also serves as Dean (Academics). He has a Ph.D. from Monash University (Australia), along with post-doctoral experience at Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and the Indian School of Business. Before joining IIMV, he was a faculty member at the University of Hyderabad, IIM Bangalore, RMIT University, and Monash University. His research focuses on fintech, financial inclusion, emerging markets corporate finance, and the innovative use of technology to to empower underserved populations. He has published extensively in top-ranked journals.
