Tabassum is a parent of a student at Prerna Boys School. Prerna Boys School was founded by Study Hall Educational Foundation in recognition of the fact that, in order to truly achieve a gender-just world, boys must also receive an education that teaches them to critically examine the construction of gender in patriarchal societies. They must learn that, while patriarchy is not their fault, it does give them unfair power and privilege and is extremely cruel to the women and girls they love.
