Rachel Tomlinson

Rachel Tomlinson is the headteacher of Barrowford Primary School in Lancashire, North West England. The school she leads has a strong focus on sustainability, children’s rights and inclusion. Their values are illustrated through the statement ‘Learn To Love, Love To Learn’ which demonstrates their commitment to the development of the whole child. Rachel has extensive experience in primary education and leadership and has worked on projects developing curriculum internationally. Rachel is also a director of YESfest. YESfest stands for ‘Youth Eco Summits with a FESTival vibe’. Our mission is to create a compelling alternative to climate apathy.
