Saurabh Taneja

Saurabh Taneja is CEO of The Akanksha Foundation, a nonprofit working to transform the lives of low-income children through high-quality education. He leads a team of 1,000+ educators and staff across 27 schools serving 14,600 students, with a network of 5,800 alumni in Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur. Under his leadership, Akanksha has expanded through public-private partnerships and collaborated with city-governments to improve learning outcomes across 200+ public schools. Akanksha was a top-three finalist for the World’s Best Schools Prize (2022) and received the Nexus of Good Award (2024). Saurabh is a Teach For India alum and an IIT Delhi graduate.
