Rosie Clayton
Research Fellow
Rosie is a researcher, writer, social entrepreneur, policy specialist, community builder and activist.
In education, she works on leading programs and initiatives looking at learning design, skills, lifelong
learning and systems change. Her work bridges policy and practice, systems thinking and social change.
She is a Research Fellow for the World Innovation Summit for Education leading work on learning
ecosystems, and currently Head of Rethinking Assessment, a UK and global movement to transform
the way we teach and assess young people.
Previously she has been an Associate Director at the Royal Society of Arts heading up the Cities of
Learning programme, and Impact Manager for social impact charity Big Change. She has worked on
projects with the Weaving Lab and Ashoka, and published research on innovation ecosystems in the
USA as a Churchill Fellow.
