Oleksandr Elkin

Oleksandr, a trailblazer in Ukrainian education, served as an advisor to three Ministers of Education and Science (2016–2020). Co-author of the New Ukrainian School concept, he spearheads secondary education reform, advocates for social and emotional skills with Emory University’s SEE Learning, and manages the OECD international Survey on Social and Emotional Skills in Ukraine. Recognized among the 100 most influential Ukrainians (2021), he is a founding curator of Kharkiv Hub of Global Shapers and a Global Dignity Country Chair for Ukraine. With a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, he’s a SEE Learning certified facilitator, conducting postdoctoral research on soft skills formation.
