Mirella Novaes is a pedagogue graduated from the State University of Bahia (UNEB) and a master’s student in Education and Diversity at UNEB. She is an Omò Orixá of Ogum of Terreiro do Cobre, an activist in the Black women’s movement, a member of the research group Curriculum, Writings and Difference, and a Territorial Pedagogical Coordinator at the Luiszas Institute/Coletiva Mahin.
