Mercy Gloria Asphet

I am a PhD student with a strong background, knowledge and skills in the introductory, field and applied Biological disciplines and human-environment interactions. As a young biologist from a developing country with many conflicting needs of development, conservation and human well-being, my interests lie in approaches that can address such societal concerns in a balanced manner without marginalizing any opinion. Currently, I am exploring the potential of citizen science to boost research efforts in the Global South, specifically Uganda.
