Mario Salomone is an environmental sociologist and philosopher, the Secretary-General of the World Environmental Education Congress Network, and founder and editor of the journal Culture of Sustainability. He teaches at the Socio-environmental Sustainability of Agri-food (University of Torino). He had previously taught at the Universities of Bergamo and Milano IULM. Among others, he sits on the Boards of the UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development at Torino University, the UNESCO Transdisciplinary Chair in Human Development and Culture of Peace at the University of Florence, and the Aurelio Peccei Foundation, the Italian Chapter of the Club of Rome.
