Dr. Loukas Katikas graduated from the Environmental Department of the University of Aegean and in 2012 he got his master’s degree in GIS and Natural Disaster Management. He holds a PhD in Geospatial Sciences from the National and Technical University of Athens. As a researcher, he participated in several EU projects related to Climate Change, Environmental and Disaster Risk Management, Geosciences and STEAM education as well as to Nature-based Solutions and Environmental Education in schools. From 2016 he is a proud member of the 100 Mentors community for mentoring in schools worldwide covering the fields of Environmental Science and Geography.
