Lorelyn Luo Lin Schroeder

Luo Lin, or Lorelyn, Schroeder, is an compassionate young researcher who often asks herself: “How do we justify a world where the universal human need for respect is determined not by one’s contribution or effort, but by the arbitrary rules society uses to define one another?” With a multicultural background spanning Beijing, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Germany, and the United States, Lorelyn aspires to influence public policy to advance human rights globally. Her organization, HeartStart, focuses on building new beginnings for migrant youths. She was invited as a Youth Delegate to UN General Assembly Week 2025.
