Libby Giles

Libby Giles is a global citizenship education leader based in Aotearoa New Zealand She is Director of the New Zealand Centre for Global Studies and a strategic partner with Netsafe. Libby has developed a unique series of interactive forums, under the banner, ‘Step up to the world|tū māia ki te ao’, that are about learning to embrace opportunities with courage, confidence and responsibility, in response to local and global challenges. Libby favours and alliance approach to advancing practical, values-based educational responses to global challenges and learning to live well together.
