“Layal Beyhum was nominated by the UN Youth Affairs Office to participate in CSW 69, where she contributed to global discussions on intergenerational dialogue in policy-making.
She is a governance and civic participation specialist working at the intersection of civil society and public institutions, with a focus on civic and political participation among Lebanese youth in Lebanon and across the diaspora. She holds a masters in human rights and a bachelors in political science and works to translate research and policy frameworks into practice within fragile and transitioning contexts.
