Katherine Chong
Founder and Director @ Artivism
Katherine is a 2024 YoungArts Winner with Distinction in the Visual Arts who attended the 2023 RISD Pre-College program concentrating in Art and Activism. As a LearningPlanet Youth Fellow, Katherine facilitated the “Planetizen Assembly : Towards a Planetizen University” workshop during the 2023 UN Global Goals Week. Her project “Tangible Histories” was also featured in the “Future of Culture” event co-hosted by the Harvard Culture Lab and Forum of the Future.
Katherine founded Artivism as a way for young artists to showcase their work and generate momentum for societal change. Katherine is currently a junior at Choate Rosemary Hall.
