Kateri Lemmens is a writer and a Regular Professor of literature and creative writing at Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) specialized in contemporary literature, relationships between literature and philosophy and creative writing (poetry, fiction and non-fiction). She shas published and directed poetry, fiction and non-fiction short texts and books (Mailler les eaux, 2023, Passer l’hiver (2022 et 2020), Que sait la littérature ? (2019), Explorer, créer, bouleverser (2019), Nihilisme et création (2015), Quelques éclats (2007), etc.). She studies various aspects of creative writing, literary and creative essay writing, literature and ethics, the wisdom of literature, American, French and Francophone contemporary literature, ecopoetics and the ethics of nature writing. In late projects, she worked on creative writing approaches of the St. Lawrence River, Estuary and Golf and how science and concerns can be creatively displayed by creative notebook and poetry.
