Jie Yu (sophie) Yao

Jie Yu (Sophie) Yao is passionate about climate change, business, and entrepreneurship. She is creating an online platform aiming to reduce misformation related to climate change, and providing an online community for people experiencing eco-anxiety. Sophie is engaged in the COP30 conference, where she gained insights on climate investments needs, policies designed for indigenous communities, and barriers in emerging economics.

Sophie also explored the eco-anxiety toolkit provided by the UN, studying more on eco-anxiety and actions that are needed. Through her online platform, Sophie is aiming to help large communities build resilience towards eco-anxiety.
