Ingrid Chan is an aspiring young researcher and innovator, who hopes to pursue computer science to propel technological advancement, while also exploring interdisciplinary fields, such as computational biology.
Ingrid is a strong advocate for mental health and accessibility to education. Inspired by her interactions with the real world, Ingrid launched Banish the Blemish in hopes of increasing accessibility to dermatology services as well as promoting acne education. She has also had the opportunity to speak about her project at Global Goals Week 2023, hosted by the UN Foundation.
