Husnain Jamil Faridi was a student Activist and founding member of the progressive Students Collective, a left-wing student organisation in Pakistan. He along with his group organised the Students Solidarity March which marked a famous student movement of 2019 where students from all cities in Pakistan marched for their rights and got the attention of National and International Media. The Students Solidarity March demanded the Restoration of student unions, an increased education budget, Against Sexual harassment, Demilitarization of Campuses and other 14 demands. Husnain now working as a Human rights activist associated with the Asia Europe People’s Forum and Pakistan
