Faiza brings nearly 20 years of experience working in education in emergencies in technical and leadership positions to INEE. She has a proven track record in strategic management, technical leadership and resource mobilization from her experience supporting education activities focused on the intersection with child protection, social policy reform and humanitarian response. Faiza was previously the Chief of Party in Save the Children’s Global Education and Child Protection Department. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Growing up across Somalia, Yemen, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, Faiza brings a multicultural perspective
