Ph.D. in Pedagogy (National Autonomous University of Mexico – UNAM). Full-time Professor at the Faculty of Higher Studies Iztacala-UNAM. His research interests revolve around teacher education, everyday school life at the higher education level, social representations, political culture, and citizenship. He has authored 18 articles in various national and international journals, 9 book chapters, and two books. He has been a speaker at conferences and congresses held in Greece, the United Kingdom, Cuba, Japan, Croatia, Spain, Tunisia, and Mexico.
