Dr. Carla Bonina is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Surrey Business School, University of Surrey. Her research focuses on the intersection of digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and policy, with a particular emphasis on sustainable development. She is a founding member of the Surrey Centre of Digital Economy and a Fellow at the Surrey Institute for People-Centred AI. Dr. Bonina has advised international organizations, governments, and donors, including the World Bank and OECD, on digital transformation and open data strategies. Her work has significantly influenced digital government policies and practices, particularly in Latin America. Â
