Chinelo Onwualu

Chinelo Onwualu is a Nigerian writer and editor living in Toronto. She is the cohost of Griots and Galaxies, a podcast about African Speculative fiction and the people who write it. She was the cofounder of Omenana, a magazine that publishes speculative fiction from Africa and the African diaspora. She is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop and studied journalism at Syracuse University in New York. She edited Ex Marginalia (Hydra House, 2023), an anthology of essays by writers of color in speculative fiction.
