Catalina is a serial social entrepreneur and co-founder of Fundación Mi Sangre, which champions initiatives to foster peaceful, democratic, and regenerative societies. Under her leadership, the foundation has impacted over 2 million lives, advancing peace-building, gender equity, migrant inclusion, and mental health. Recognized globally, Catalina was named Social Innovator of the Year by the Schwab Foundation and is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and an Ashoka and Synergos Fellow. She co-founded Green Gold and the Alliance for Responsible Mining, leading the development of the first social and environmental certification for artisanal gold mining.
