Beier Zhang

As an observant high school artist, Beier Zhang explores a variety of subjects of matter in her artworks which takes inspiration from random encounters amidst conversations with herself. Beier’s art, often being characterized by the balance between distorted realism and surreal elements, transports viewers’ imaginations into another space while addressing pressing matters symbolically in the real world. Her creations ultimately strives to go beyond mere aesthetics appeal — to further provoke reflections and thoughts that would make positive impacts beyond self expressions. Her key projects include “Blue, Unfenced”, ImpART, and XiaoHua Magazine.
