Aurélie Richard

Ms. Aurélie Richard is a Junior Fellow at the UNU Paris Office . She received her master’s degree in public international law from the University of Oslo. Her master’s thesis focused on the rescue of refugees and migrants in distress at sea: State obligations and State compliance in international law. She also holds a master’s degree in common law and transnational law from the University of Sherbrooke.

She has gained professional experience in legal and multidisciplinary research, as well as in human rights, through internships with UNHCR in Geneva and the IBA’s Human Rights Institute in London.
