Arisandy is a Ph.D. student and a research assistant at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University.
He earned an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Kent State University under the Fulbright Scholarship. He earned his undergraduate degree in English Education from Teachers College, PGRI University of Palembang, Indonesia.
He is originally from Indonesia. He used to work as a civil servant as a secondary school teacher and became involved in a curriculum development and implementation program as a teacher trainer. His interests are adolescent literacy, identities, and poststructuralism.
