Annesofie Norn

Since 2019, Annesofie has led the curation of global programming at UN Live, where she has developed projects in more that 30 countries. In this work, she has been passionate about exploring new and innovative ways to engage individuals and institutions in action, through the power of culture. Annesofie has also led partnership work around museums and the arts sector, engaging with networks, moderating future-facing conversations, and creating opportunities for cultural spaces to become agents of change. With her educational background from set design and fine arts, Annesofie’s international career has spanned cross-over projects between international development and socially-engaged art projects, working with diverse groups to co-create participatory exhibitions and performances. Prior to joining UN Live, Annesofie led a number of participatory art projects, working with displaced families in Gaza, Female ex-combatants in the Central African Republic, as well as scientists and Inuit Hunters across the Circumpolar North.
