Director of the Global Schools Program @ Sustainable Development Solutions Network

Amanda Abrom is the Director of the Global Schools Program, an initiative of the UN SDSN which supports a network of 1,500 primary and secondary schools in 100 countries. She founded the Global Schools Teacher Advocates program for educators to bring sustainable development within school communities, curricula, and operations. She has worked as a teacher, with Ministries of Education, the British Council, and the US State Department on student exchange programs. She is a Fulbright Scholar recipient, a WISE Emerging Leader Fellow with the Qatar Foundation, an Aspen Future Leader, a NAAEE Environmental Education 30 Under 30, and a UNCTAD
