Alma Karic
Artistic Director, Superar in BiH @ Superar in BiH
Alma Karic is a music professor and conductor from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She graduated (2001) on Department of Orchestra and Choir conducting at the University of Sarajevo, Academy of Music. Since 2000, she’s working as a choir/orchestra teacher in Primary music school “Novo Sarajevo“. In the last 22 years, she led many regional and international projects, won over 30 prizes in regional and international competitions for categories choir/vocal groups/orchestra, as well as served as jury member in mentioned competitions. She performed with her ensembles in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Turkey, The Netherlands, Belgium. She’s awarded with the title of senior advisor in teaching, given by Ministry of education of Canton Sarajevo (2019). From 2015 – 2018 she worked as a teacher-coordinator in Regional Children’s Philharmonic, and from 2016 she’s Artistic Director of “Superar in BiH”, a free high-quality music program in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
