Professor of Environmental and Sustainability Education in the Department of Teaching, Learning & Sociocultural Studies at the University of Arizona. Since 2019 he has served as Editor‑in‑Chief of the Journal of Environmental Education, the longest‑running journal in its field. His research focuses on experiential education, vocational and technical pathways, decolonizing education, and integrating culturally‑rich non‑commodified knowledge into formal systems.
