Ainun Nishat

Professor Ainun Nishat is a leading expert in water resource management and climate change in Bangladesh. He earned his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and an M.Sc from BUET. Currently, he serves as Professor Emeritus at BRAC University and was its former Vice-Chancellor. He has represented Bangladesh at UN Climate Change Conferences since CoP 13 and serves on the Compliance Committee of the Kyoto Protocol.
