The New Zealand Centre for Global Studies (NZCGS) provides expertise across four areas of focus: Global Citizenship Education; Global Law and Governance, Climate Change and Sustainability; and Disarmament and Security.
Bringing perspectives from Aotearoa New Zealand and te ao Māori, our approach to global citizenship education is holistic and interdisciplinary, underpinned by three big ideas: Tuakiritanga (identity), hononga (connections) and kaitiakitanga (responsibility).
