Youth-led HEAL’s mission is to ‘heal’ the healthcare system of these issues. Barriers can almost always be overcome, whether it be an insurance policy, geographical isolation, or health literacy; HEAL is the organization to assist those in need to overcome these obstacles.

Since launch, HEAL has initiated educational and social media campaigns (one titled “108 Ways for Youth to Become a Health Equity Hero!”), has partnered with the Federation of African Medical Students Association (FAMSA) for a breast cancer workshop project which engaged 5+ countries across the African Union, and has seen its founder being invited to the WHO Headquarters in Geneva.
