The Educere Alliance is a global network of educators, scholars, and community-based initiatives working to transform education in response to intertwined social, ecological, and epistemic crises. At a moment when standardised, extractive, and technocratic models of education continue to marginalise Indigenous, craft-based, and experiential forms of knowledge, Educere supports pedagogies that cultivate resilience, ecological attentiveness, cultural continuity, and collective agency. The Educere Alliance emerged from an ESRC Global Challenges Research Fellowship held at the University of Oxford in 2017 in ODID and has since developed into an international network rooted in interdisciplinary research and activist practice.
