Founded by Ms. Erin Yu, Civocate, a youth-led civic initiative, empowers students to investigate how inflation, housing instability, and municipal decision-making intersect with race, education access, and policing—using data-driven reporting, case studies, and public workshops to strengthen civic literacy and advance more equitable local outcomes. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, this project was created to address education inequality gaps she noticed in her own community with the intention to expand to a national initiative.
