The United Nations Youth Office, in partnership with the Learning Planet Institute, invites you to a hybrid, interactive dialogue focused on the UN Youth Compass, the UN’s flagship initiative to advance meaningful, inclusive and effective youth engagement across policymaking and decision-making processes.
Centred on youth voices and lived realities, this session will bring together youth leaders, institutions, civil society, UN Entities and partners to explore how the UN Youth Compass can help move youth participation from commitments to practice, bridging the gap between institutional mechanisms and the expectations of a new generation.
This event takes place in continuity with UNESCO’s International Day of Education celebrations, held earlier the same day at UNESCO Headquarters, and forms part of the Learning Planet Festival, co-led by UNESCO and the Learning Planet Institute, mobilising hundreds of events worldwide to celebrate the International Day of Education.
Register above for in person or online participation. For those in person : the event will be followed by a light reception.
