Venus is an advocate for the human rights of LGBTIQ youth. She works at Outright International, a global LGBTIQ advocacy organization, supporting research and UN advocacy work for equality. She was part of the inaugural Youth Reference Group of the UN Youth Office (2024-2025), where she supported efforts to operationalize meaningful youth engagement across the UN. Prior to this role, she was a member of the UN Human Rights 75 Youth Advisory Group, which supported a participatory process to develop a youth declaration on the future of human rights.
