When we talk about gender equality, we often focus on empowering girls and women—and rightly so. But real and lasting change is not possible unless men and boys are part of the conversation.
Boys grow up learning ideas about power, masculinity, and relationships from a very young age—often without questioning them. If these ideas go unchallenged, inequality continues. But when boys are encouraged to reflect, question stereotypes, and understand respect and consent, they grow into men who support fairness, equality, and justice.

At Study Hall Educational Foundation, we believe boys can be powerful allies for change. Our curriculum works directly with boys to help them:
Understand gender roles and stereotypes
Recognise privilege and inequality
Develop empathy, respect, and accountability
Become advocates for gender justice in their homes, schools, and communities

Educating boys is about responsibility and partnership. When boys learn to stand for equality, everyone benefits: women, families, communities, and the boys themselves.
This panel discussion will explore why engaging men and boys is essential, what happens when they are left out, and how education can help build a more equal and just society.
