Nile Girls Forum is an organisation that deals with young women and its programs are mainly centre around leadership, sexual reproductive health, peace building, climate justice and economic development. In addition, our mission seeks to create solutions and platforms that groom vulnerable girls to realize their full potential and contribute to sustainable peace and development. Therefore, since the Learning Planet Festival’s theme centres around Education, this aligns perfectly with our belief that education should be a shared endeavour and one that includes a tapestry of voices , ideas and dreams.
From our event, we will share lessons from our Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) report offering a behind-the-scenes look of how organisations can address the educational and health challenges faced by women in displaced communities and by the end of hosting this event, we anticipate that participants would have gained insights into how collaborative approaches can drive impactful and responsive educational solutions. The event will facilitate connections among individuals and organisations dedicated to reimagining education through partnership and fostering collaboration for future initiatives.
