Mathematics for Change is a digital initiative that turns mathematics learning into a meaningful and real-world exploration. In this interactive session, participants will experience the full student journey: taking a short pre-test, engaging in a data-based activity connected to a global issue, and submitting a post-test evaluated in real time through AI-powered open-response scoring.
We will then briefly switch to the teacher view to explore how learning analytics, feedback tools, and guided reflection support deeper student understanding and agency. Together, we will discuss how math education can become more impactful by connecting classroom learning to the challenges that shape our world.
