This session marks the official launch of Encyflict, a multifaceted solution to the lack of awareness surrounding modern conflicts that combines a front-end of a digital interactive map with a back-end of cooperation with people in active conflict zones. Hosted by its founder and developer, Zhaohua Chen, this session will explore the underlying factors that sustain conflicts in our world today and as such, the priority items that must be targeted in order to best remedy them as the global landscape rapidly evolves.
Through a digital interactive presentation, attendees will be invited to provide their input on various prompts about how conflicts have been caused, evolved, and the costs they have inflicted, both human and monetary, over time. Additionally, they will be welcome to share thoughts regarding Encyflict itself. Through their participation in this session, attendees will garner new insights into the major drivers of current conflicts, new flashpoints, and potential avenues towards peace.
