Moderated by Nathan from Porticus, Hosted by Erioluwa from YouthxYouth and featuring panelists, Remijus from Global Fund for Children and Gayle from Little Big Fund this session will explore the question of how funders are collaborating with youth leaders and their communities to create meaningful, lasting change.

Throughout this discussion, we aim to explore several thought-provoking questions, including:
What if young people were at the center of philanthropic decisions? What would that look, smell, and feel like?
How can we disrupt the “adultification” of funding, where young people are expected to conform to adult standards or navigate inaccessible opportunities to build relationships with funders?
What would it mean if funders and donors saw themselves as allies, not just partners, in the work of transformation?

By the end of the session, we hope to inspire concrete commitments, including:
A stronger commitment from funders to engage in intergenerational collaboration.
A pledge to be more inclusive of young people in decision-making processes.
A shift towards intergenerational ways of working in philanthropy.
