This challenge explores how the Meta-Layer can transform learning, from living rooms to offices, classrooms and universities to lifelong and community-based learning. The event introduces participants to the Meta-Layer, a new civic and coordination layer of the Internet that operates above existing webpages. The Meta-Layer enables contextual overlays, shared presence, trust signals, and community governance without replacing today’s Web.

Learning is an ideal domain for exploring this paradigm. As learners navigate an increasingly fragmented, AI-saturated information environment, the Meta-Layer offers new ways to support collective intelligence, trust, collaboration, and human-centered learning.

This event closes a week-long Meta-Layer Education Design Challenge, inviting participants to imagine and design how education could evolve if learning communities, knowledge artifacts, and economic coordination lived above the webpage.

Closing Showcase (90 minutes)
Team presentations
Community discussion and reflection
